There are some friends in life that just know how to go on adventures...

Allan and Emily are two of those friends.

We went hiking the other day. We picked a short hike with a big reward.

... but the journey was fun, too. As seen in the photo above, Gian instantly turned into a 12 year old boy scout. We found a deer skull, dipped our feet in the ice cold water, got blown away by the water fall wind and did fitness challenges along the way. We skipped rocks on the pond and Gian probably broke the rock skipping world record but only those of us who were there will know. We also conquered the cement tower. All of that equals F-U-N! The fun is probably less in the destination (though it was a great one) and more in the company.
